Hay Baling by Jonathan Little. A scene in the Yorkshire Dales showing a farmer with his tractor and baler, bailing up the hay in a field that had previously been cut when the grass had grown and there was a period of dry weather in summer to enable the harvest. The field is surrounded by trees and the sky was blue with just a few whispers of cloud. I was always fascinated with the labour intensive harvest time paintings over a century ago depicting farming and farming schemes.
